The SCA 94, 95, and 96 Girls are all preparing for the Pleasanton Rage College Showcase, which is considered the top college showcase in Northern California.  The 97 Girls will compete at the prestigious San Diego Surf Cup, considered by many the top tournament in the US. 

At the Rage College Showcase, SCA teams will take on opponents from around the western United States, including teams from Southern California, Washington, and Oregon.  Over 100 college coaches have registered to attend the event.  The Rage College Showcase is a great chance for the SCA players and tems to gain exposure to college coaches from around the U.S., "  said Chris Ziemer, who serves as the U14-17 girls director and oversees the college recruiting program.  "Many of the college teams start in mid-August, so this is one of the final chances for exposure before they focus on their college team," added Ziemer.

At Surf Cup, the SCA 97 Girls will compete in a 20 team bracket which features many of the top teams from around the US.  "Surf Cup is an exciting event for the girls as it is played at the beautiful polo fields.  Surf Cup is always a great measuring stick and a chance to play top teams from around the US," said Ziemer.
