Nominations

The nomination’s statement will be posted on the SCA website (http://www.scasoccer.com).  Anyone who is in bad standing with CYSA, the league(s) and/or the club is not eligible.

Election

The election of the Board of Directors shall be by secret ballot. The election shall be decided by who gets the most votes.  In case of a tie, a vote will be made by the SCA board to determine the outcome.

Voting Process

Elections will be done exclusively through the SCA website.

Each SCA Team will have 2 voting members.  At least one voting member must be an adult who is credentialed to the team through CYSA or USCLUB soccer.  Members who are currently being paid for services to SCA are not eligible (example: coaches).  It is expected that voting members will vote as representatives of their team; therefore teams should give some consideration as to who they select to represent their team.

All SCA board members are eligible to vote, however if they are representing a team they are only entitled to one vote.  Board members who are currently being paid for services to SCA are not eligible.

Each team manager must register 2 voting members through the League Website (http://www.scasoccer.com) by December 18th 2005. Failure to register will result in forfeiture to vote. A valid and unique email address is required for each voting member. Board members will automatically be registered to vote.

Voting will occur during the week of January 10th 2005 through January 18th 2006.  The registered voter will be requested to vote for their choice on the SCA Website. Each registered voter will be required to enter their email address to validate they are eligible to vote.  An email receipt will be sent to the voter as receipt that his or her vote was recorded.

The SCA Webmaster will tally the votes on January 19th 2006 and submit preliminary results to the SCA Board of Directors and voting members.

The SCA Secretary will present 2006 SCA Board Member final results at the February meeting.
