Members present: Joni Lewis, Sue Bolt, Tony Behen, Jim Lewis,
Karen Turner, Danny Ortega, Kathi Dolcini, Tracie Hankerson, Kim Behen,
Eileen Mateo, Rick Mitchell, Josh Sterling, Dave Derby and Stephanie
Derby. Absent: Terri Catton Meeting called to order by Danny Ortega. 35 people attended College Nite. Plans are being made for holding another meeting on a Monday night. Emphasis at meeting was to develop well-rounded players with emphasis on academics. Congratulations to the U16G (Wt) team who placed FIRST at Antioch tournament. ELECTIONS: Tony is preparing a ballot for November. The following positions are up for election: SCA Coordinator, Player Assistance Coordinator, Youth Coordinator, Treasurer, Fundraising Coordinator, and RPSL Liaison. NORCAL UPDATE: Dave requested a refund for the 90G (Wt) team. The request was voted upon, request granted. RPSL Report: The MOU will be on tomorrow night’s agenda. Jim reported that they are looking to come to an agreement. U12B(Wt) Team: Meeting to be held September 28th with Lee Hill, Josh Sterling, Eric P., Andrew Ziemer and Trevor to discuss concerns of team. Concerns: unsportsmanlike conduct of players, lopsided scores of games, not much movement between first team and white team, haven’t had training with other U12B team, address trainings and schedule. WHITE TEAMS AND U.S. CLUB: There is consideration of registering the top Class 3 team players with U.S. Club Soccer. Discussion to continue at 10/24/05 meeting. Player Delinquent Account: Kathi needs signed contract to proceed – will send certified mail. TEAM MANAGER UPDATE: Rick has asked a printing company for a quote for game cards. Re nets for goals – Board motioned and passed request to spend $620 for ladders and boxes for chains for the two fields at M Park. Re follow-up to meeting with Danny, Josh and Tom- Rick has pledged commitment to his service in the position of Team Manager. HARVEST CUP: Thank YOU, Joni!!! The net for the snack bar was about $5,000. It was noted that about 200 referee meals ($5.00 each) were served. Joni will talk to SSU about their portion of this. U10B: Team has no scorekeeper to report games – Katya will be contacted. PLAYER ASSISTANCE: Monies have been distributed to “youngers.” Gina Monraz is organizing snack bar at M Pk. For Saturday, 10/1. U9G Team: has printed own sweatshirts after their request from SCA was declined. Rick Mitchell will contact manager. Suggestion to remove logo from website to avoid this happening again. Josh will reiterate this key issue with coaches. M PARK Lights: Reminder that keys MUST be returned. Josh will reiterate importance of returns with coaches. NEED STRIPING PAINT BUDGET: Paint is $40 case. FIELDS AND EQUIPMENT: Danny will assign Pete Hulsman to “Lights and Lining” position. REFEREE ASSIGNER NEEDED: Tony Welcker has resigned. Need a job description. DEPOSITS: Give Kathi copies of scholarship deposits. Deposits go to Heidi Angotti. Need solution for Terri Catton’s, deposit manager, resignation. NoCAL Premiere Jamboree Profit: $1,094 – decision to be voted on re profits to be placed with Academy, Player Assistance, or bonus to coaches.
