Rohnert Park Soccer League Does Not Renew MOU
Tuesday, 11 October 2005
On Tuesday, Sept. 27th, the Rohnert Park Soccer League Board of Directors, voted not to renew the Memorandum of Understanding {MOU} with the Petaluma Youth Soccer League, for the purpose of supporting a Division 1Club in 2006.

As a result, our Sonoma County Alliance Club will have sole, CYSA League affiliation, with PYSL for the 2006 playing season.  Your SCA Board of Directors is reviewing procedures for a smooth transition for our players and teams.  RPSL will continue to support SCA throughout the remainder of the 2005 season, which will conclude with the last of our team's State Cup Competitions.   SCA will continue as a Division 1 Club, serving the needs of Division 1, under 9 through under 19 players and teams.

As our SCA Club moves forward, we are asking your assistance to select 2 to 3 committed family members from your team, to attend a meeting on Monday, Oct. 24th, 7pm at the Lucchesi Community Center, Petaluma.  The purpose of the meeting is to begin to lay a foundation, for a broader volunteer committee base for our Club.  The regularly scheduled Board Rep. meeting on Monday, Oct. 10th is cancelled. Please contact your team’s manager if interested.

In the absence of the Team Rep. meeting, if your team has immediate issues that should need attention, please notify one of our Board Members.  We will make every effort to respond quickly.

I look forward to seeing your teams at competition.  Each of our Board Members remains grateful for the support you have given to your team and our SCA Club.

In Appreciation,

Danny Ortega
SCA Coordinator
