On January 9^th and 10^th the SCA 97Girls took 3^rd place at the Mustang Winter Turf Soccer tournament inDanville.  SCA, currently ranked 3^rdin Northern California and 14^th in the nation, began their weekendwith a 1-1 tie against a strong Elk Grove team.  Their second game was a 3-0 win against Mustang Freedom.  Their third game was a 1-1 tie against longtime rival Bay Oaks that brought them to the consolation game and ended in a3-2 win against Central Valley Arsenal. Thanks to guest coaches Vinnie Cortezzo and Neil Turnbull and congratulations to coach Trisha Ziemer and to the team: Liza Bernard, Rebecca Dodelle, Ellorine Carle, Nikki Elliott, Shelby Evenich,Delaney Frye, Grace Forsell, Monica Furne, Gabbi Lemos, Danielle Nunn, SierraOverton, Cami Rencken, Mckenzie Maher, Jillian VanRiper, Lizzy Woerner,and Taylor Ziemer.
