On Saturday May 10th, soccer players and their parents turned out to join 10,000 participants in the 26th annual Human Race. More than 250 non-profits participated, and 10,000 people walked and ran raising $1,000,000!!! SCA placed 3rd in top agencies (most money received by a non-profit) by raising $41,415! Almost every team was represented and a record number of players ran in either the 3k or 10k races this year. The 97 Girls were well represented. Rebecca Dodele came in first place for their team and 3rd place for her age group. The 95 Girls had players who participated in both the 3k and 10k. Ashley Moffett came in first place for her age category in the 10k. Gabby George also ran the 10k. Taylor Halstenson came in 1st place in the 3k for her team. Alicia Angotti, Cierra Iribarne, and Natalie Bunch also ran the 3k. Congratulations to all of the runners and everyone who went out and collected money for such a good cause.
