SCA 98 Girls Red Take 1st Place in Silver Division at Boo-fest |

 On October 27th and 28th, the SCA 98 Girls Red team, coached by Megan Catton and Trisha Zeimer, made an amazing comeback in the final game of Boo-fest in Sacramento to defeat the San Juan Spirits in pk’s and win Boo-fest. Earlier in the tournament, the girls defeated PUP 98 Tango 6-0 and Thunderbirds Black 5-0. They then tied South Valley United 0-0, and defeated Santa Rosa United Ice Flury 1-0 in the semi-finals. In the final game the score was 1-0, San Juan, at halftime. Then, early in the second half, San Juan scored 2 quick goals to bring the game to 3-0. But SCA showed no signs of giving up and came back to score 3 goals and tie the game. Congratulations to all of the girls on the team: Eden Brooker, who scored the 3 goals, Lilly Reinstein, Alexia Martinez, Misty Martinez, Sydney Starke, Michaela DeMartini, Keira Coleman, Tatia Dumbadse and our amazing goalie, Sarah Willits who remained calm under pk pressure.
