Although it has taken a while for the program to get off the ground we had 50% of our U9-U14 teams turn in scores for their players. The U9G, U9B, U10G, U11G, U12G and U13B all tuned in their totals. Each team had varying number of players turning in their sheets, but we are happy to have these teams participating in the monthly contest for “Playing at Home”. If you are one of these teams or one of the teams that did not submit their totals be sure to turn your sheet in to your coach or “Playing at Home” coordinator. It is great to get your name on the website, in the newsletter or get a prize, but the key is that you’re playing soccer outside of your normal SCA soccer trainings. This shows initiative and commitment from a player to their own development. Congratulations to everyone!
Top 2 players in U8-U14- Conner Hennen with 2270 minutes and Alexander Ziemer with 1795 will receive a new PUMA ball. Highest team average- U13B averaged 380 minutes per player this was largely due to Conner Hennen and Alexander Ziemer’s great efforts. Each player that participated and help the team achieve this award will get a PUMA water bottle. Highest percentage of participation – U9G had 62% of the players participated in the program. Each girl that participated will get a PUMA water bottle.
