Dust off those cowboy boots and gather up your best western attire for SCA’s First Annual Barn Dance and Silent Auction! This will be an adult only fundraiser so line up the sitter now! Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 22 from 7pm to 11pm for a Barn Dance at Hermann Son’s Hall in Petaluma and have a rip roarin’ good time! There will be a professional square dance caller, drinks, dinner and a no host bar and a silent auction to boot! All proceeds will go towards reducing the cost of the Hoek camp for summer 2008. Now, you may be askin’ ‘How Might I help!?’ Well to make the silent auction a success requires many donations of desirable goods and services. So all you painters, jewelry makers, weavers, bakers, sports fans, photographers, cooks, caterers, gardeners, carpenters, computer wizards….. we need your donations. Do you have a contact with a business owner who might donate something fun?.... a massage, dinners, limo rides, a vacation home, sports tickets (2010 World Cup tickets!)…. then by all means, ask. Not sure if what you have will work, well give us a holler and lets talk! Want to be on the committee, well then please just call…….
