SCA 92 Girls CYSA State Cup Semi-Finalists! |

SCA is proud to announce that the 92 Girls defeated 7 teams to make it to the State Cup semi-finals on April 22. In the first round, they defeated Davis 2-1, SF Vikings 4-0 and Elk Grove 4-1. They defeated El Dorado 4-3 and arch rivals Central Marin 2-1 to bring them to the quarterfinals on April 21st. There they beat the Redwood Juventus 2-1 and on to the semi-finals the next day. They fell to a very tough Mustang Spirits team 2-0. Coach Vinnie Cortezzo is very proud of his team this year and sees another great year of successes ahead. The players are: Natalee Simon, Melissa Madrid, Lexus Humphrey, Maggie Dezendorf, Kirsten (Sparky) Hilbert, Lauren Beauchamp, Kirstin (Twink) Holmberg, Hannah Farazmand. Katie Behm, Carolyn Upton, Taylor Gehring, Jessica (Big Dog) Heitman, Lizzie Mitchell, Theresa Devine, Danielle Stave, and Mary Pyne. Congratulations girls!
