SCA is proud to announce the second annual KOA day. This fun family event for players, sibling and parents will be held Sunday, June 10th from 11am - 4pm at the KOA grounds in Petaluma. SCA is looking for volunteers to help run the event contact Diane Forsell

My name is Diane Forsell and I am the coordinator for the SCA KOA Day. This year it is being held on Sunday, June 10th from 11am - 4pm at the KOA grounds in Petaluma. I cannot do my job without all of you! Please let your team and coach know about the date so people can check their June calendars and SAVE THE DATE. We will need some volunteers from each team to help make the event a success. Remind your parents that they may get volunteer hours for helping with the KOA Day. Each team will need a ticket person. This could be your fundraiser volunteer, team parent, or another volunteer. They will collect the money in advance from the team and distribute the tickets to the team members. Two volunteers per team would be greatly appreciate to help with all of the other exciting activities that day such as: games- water balloon toss, tug of war etc., BBQ help, soccer games, Megaphone duty!! and more. We will set up one hour shifts, and in that way, we can all help each other. More details to follow ... If you can get back to me SOON with the name and email information of the person who will be in charge of tickets that would be a great start! If any volunteers would like to attend the May Board meeting to help coordinate the events - please let me know. The more the better to help organize the day.
