3.     Treasurer's Report: Tabled

4.     Old Business:
i.. DOC Contract - reviewed by DOC.  He changed business attorneys and will have new attorney review soon. Changing business name from Josh Sterling to Sterling Corporation. Has some questions about the contract wording on some issues. Should finalize soon.
ii. By Laws - Katya - changes completed and updated and ready for Board review. Will go out within a week or so.
Behen - Nor Cal Rep and Referee position not filled and they're voting members - should keep as part of the By Laws? If not voted in by members should they be voting members?
Turner: When look at work on by laws can discuss further.
Hankerson: Should have an open Board that listens to voices of all. May want to look at all positions to see which should be voted in rather then appointed.
iii. Booster Club - tabled
iv. Club Brochure - tabled
v. Audit - tabled
vi. U9 to U 10 Academy -
Tony spoke to PYSL and United and they're very excited about academy and participating. Josh- everyone likes the concept. Many ideas discussed. Options are to keep status with United as is and change the program with SCA but thinks would be better to work with league.
Issues: Name and Class III District Teams. If named SCA/United - possibly won't be understood outside Petaluma.
Katya - If want commitment from people outside town then should have teams with SCA name. Josh - agrees should keep the SCA name to grow the Club. Untied wanted to have both logos and if go to Class I event would be SCA and if go to Class III event would be United.   Katya - registration/training fees change? Josh - there would be costs adjusted across the board. Katya - How would the group manage the money? Monies would be run thru SCA .
Tracy - 1) United worried with playing out of league. Suggested possibility of United droping their name and become SCA III. The academy will become the SCA Academy and some events are class III events. SCA name very strong - wouldn't want to take that away.
Tony - what are teams wearing when go to events? Suggested - Black T-shirts 2 logos - United and SCA. Training Shirts could have both logos and then when compete the kids would wear a t-shirt that says SCA.
Katya - the coaches are SCA, all run by SCA - so should have that on the shirts.
Class III League Play -
Tracy - parent upset having to drive to Humboldt so would be better to not have to play Dist 5 league games.
Register with CYSA? May not be necessary since register with US Club.
Board recommendation:
- Retain SCA name
- No participation in Dist 5 League games
- Willing to pay a resource program fee to PYSL rather than CYSA registration fee
- Over all program costs will equalize between 2 leagues
- Pete Hulseman will oversee as manager.
- SCA does all hiring and has trained and certified coaches
- No uniforms - will cut costs.

5.     Events
iii. Tryouts -
Tracy - field scheduling an issue. Lost State Cup due to field scheduling so now have dates open again for tryouts. Feburary 25th 8 am to 10 p.m. Want March 3&4 but Dist 5 scheduled games for that day - so questionable if will have fields. Marsha will have tryout kick off meeting. Winter league schedule sent out.
v.     End of Year
