We are excited to announce that U.S. Club Soccer has hired Gabe Rood as its Western Regional Representative. Gabe will work to increase U.S. Club Soccer membership and the awareness of U.S. Club Soccer events in the Rocky Mountain and Pacific states. This is a big honor for Gabe and SCA. Gabe states, “SCA has helped me grow tremendously. They have given me experience, knowledge, connections, and the opportunity for me to further my career.” SCA Director of Coaching, Josh Sterling, continues, “Gabe is very deserving of this opportunity. I am happy for Gabe and also very pleased he will be remaining with SCA” Said Sterling. The US Club Soccer announcement misstated that Gabe will be stepping down from SCA. This is untrue. “When US Club Soccer hired me they wanted me to continue to coach and work with players/teams on the field. This is great because I love working with SCA.” said Gabe. Gabe will be back with SCA next year, but unfortunately will not be able to coach three teams again. This upcoming season he will be working with one team and help oversee and train SCA’s Academy players. Look for specifics of the coaching staff to be announced this month! |
