SCA 98 Girls Take 4th Place at Boo Fest |

 On October 28th and 29th, the SCA 98 Girls brought home 4th place at the Boo-Fest in Sacramento California. Their first game against CABJ 97 Blue ended 3-0, SCA, with goals scored by Isabella Murphy, Julia Herrera and Eden Brooker. Their second game against the Union City Devils ended 1-0 with one goal scored by Isabella Murphy. This put them first in their bracket. The next day they played Elk Grove 98 Orange. Eden Brooker scored on a penalty kick and the game ended 1-1. Since SCA had more overall points, this sent SCA to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, SCA played Elk Grove Blue. This was a tough, hard-fought game, ending in 0-0 after double overtime. SCA, unfortunately, lost in penalty kicks. Special mention should be made of the fantastic job Julia Herrera did in goal. Ending up in the consolation game, SCA lost 2-0. Coach Shawn Rothrock is very proud of his girls this past weekend.
