98 Girls Win 3 Games at NorCal Playdate |

 On Saturday, August 19th, the SCA 98 Girls coached by Shawn Rothrock, defeated all three opponents at the Norcal competition in Petaluma. In the first game, the girls defeated Placer United 4-3. Goals were scored by Eden Brooker (2), Julia Herrera, and Kathleen Mateo on a penalty kick. In the second game, SCA defeated Elk Grove Orange 4-1. Goals were scored by Hailey Iribarne, Isabella Murphy, Sofia Gonzalez, and Eden. The girls beat Elk Grove Blue in the third game, 3-1. Goals were scored by Hailey, Isabella, and Julia. The other members of the team are Madison Parratt, Stephanie Mitchell, Anna Hilbert, Hannah Devoe, and Alexia Martinez. The girls were called upon to play multiple positions, including goalie. They showed strong defense against very tough competition. Congratulations girls!
