| SCA does not require or recommend that its players only play soccer. We also will not and do not punish players for missing SCA training and games. In the 1st part of the season we remain very flexible when working with multiple sport athletes. We do ask that soccer take first priority during the Fall and Winter months as this is the most important part of our season. We also ask that parents and players understand that regardless of the reason for missing training or a game that a player may not play as much. This is not a punishment to the player who missed, but a reward for the players who attended the SCA training or game. By giving more time to the players who attend SCA events it ultimately takes away from those who missed. We feel this is fair and flexible guideline. We also ask that all missed events are communicated to the coach in advanced. |
