SCA 95 Boys Take 3rd Place at the Puma-Seawolf Six-a-Side Cup |

 It was a long hot day at Sonoma State University on Saturday, July 8th, but the 95 boys played with heart, passion and determination the entire day. The team was comprised of Nick Klimenko, Kevin Poteracke, Alexi Taylor, Jamie Ferrari, RC Tidwell, Ethan Wenker, Celso Valencia, Humberto Ponce, Fernando Alvarez and James Del Curto. The boys finished with 2 wins and a loss (which included a 9-2 victory over arch rival Santa Rosa United) to advance to the semi finals. They lost in the semi final to eventual champion, Atletico, but won the third place game against the Heritage Thunder, 7-3. Every player scored at least one goal and although they were tired they never gave up and played very hard right until the final whistle. We're proud of you boys!
